Illés was a Hungarian rock and beat band that formed in 1960. They gained wider
popularity outside student clubs in 1963 and became one of the dominant groups
of the Hungarian rock boom. The band featured Levente Szörényi, János Bródy,
Szabolcs Szörényi, Lajos Illés, and Zoltán Pásztory. Their name originated from
