Jacqueline Ruth Woods, known professionally as Ilene Woods, and born on May 5,
1929 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, was a singer and actress. She gained her own
radio program in 1944 and toured with Paul Whiteman and the Army Air Forces
Orchestra during World War II. In 1948, Woods recorded "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo", "A
Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and "So This is Love" for Mack David and Jerry
Livingston. These songs were later used in Walt Disney's Cinderella. After
