Ikusaburo Yamazaki, born 山崎育三郎 on 18 January 1986 in Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese
singer and actor who began his artistic journey in musical theatre. After
winning a special jury prize at a national children’s song contest in 1997 and
debuting on stage in 1998, he pursued formal vocal studies and later joined Sony
Music SD after being selected through the company’s 2004 artist audition
programme. His recording career launched with the album 1936 – Your Songs,
