Icarus, a British electronic music group from London, England, was formed in
1997 by cousins Ollie Bown and Sam Britton. The band's early releases included
singles such as "UL-6" and "Soviet Igloo", which helped establish their unique
sound blending electronic drum and bass with experimental jazz. Their debut
album Kamikaze was released in 1998, followed by Fijaka in 1999. In 2001, Icarus
released the critically acclaimed album Squid Ink, which marked a significant
