Ian Geoffrey Pace, born in 1968 in Hartlepool, United Kingdom, is a British
pianist and musicologist renowned for his performances of contemporary classical
music. He studied at Chetham's School of Music, The Queen's College, Oxford, and
the Juilliard School in New York under György Sándor. Pace is celebrated for his
