Howie Beck, born Howard Jay Beck in Toronto, Ontario, is a Canadian musician and producer. His debut album, Pop and Crash (1997), was recorded at home while recovering from mononucleosis in 1997. Beck gained attention with his second album, Hollow (2001), which featured songs appearing on TV shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Queer as Folk. He signed with Easy!Tiger for European releases and embarked on international tours.
