Michael Griffith Buchanan, known professionally as House Shoes, is an American hip-hop producer and DJ from Detroit. House Shoes began his career as a resident DJ at St. Andrews Hall from 1994 to 2004 and worked at record stores including Melodies & Memories and Street Corner Music, later managing for Fat Beats. He won the Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Hip-Hop DJ three consecutive times from 2005 to 2007. House Shoes later released his debut studio album, Let It Go, in 2012.
