Hollywood Rose
Hollywood Rose was an American glam metal group formed in June 1983 in Los
Angeles by Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, and Chris Weber. The trio’s early work
culminated in a five‑song demo recorded in January 1984, which was later
released as The Roots of Guns N’ Roses in 2004. In 1984, lineup changes
introduced Slash and Steven Adler, while Izzy Stradlin departed. The group
disbanded later that year after a final show at The Troubadour. A reunion on
January 1, 1985, featuring Tracii Guns and Rob Gardner, led to a merger with
L.A. Guns in March 1985 and the formation of Guns N’ Roses. So...
