Holly Palmer
Holly Palmer, who was born circa 1971 in Santa Monica, California, is an
American singer-songwriter. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music,
her career began performing in Boston, where she signed a demo deal with Island
Records. She released her self-titled album, Holly Palmer (1996), on Reprise
Records, which featured contributions from Bill Frisell and John Leventhal, and
the single “Different Languages” (1996) received radio airplay. She toured with
artists such as k.d. lang and David Bowie, providing backing vocals on Bowie's
