Hijack, a British hip hop group from Brixton, London, was formed in 1988 by
Kamanchi Sly, DJ Supreme, DJ Undercover, Ulysses, Agent Fritz and Agent Clueso;
Kamanchi Sly later became Unknown MC and DJ Supreme. Their debut single "Style
Wars" (Music of Life, 1988) attracted local attention, followed by "Hold No
Hostage"/"Doomsday of Rap" (Music of Life, 1989), an underground hit that drew
West Coast rapper Ice‑T. Ice‑T signed the group to Rhyme Syndicate, releasing
