Hey Violet
Hey Violet, an American pop‑rock group formed in Los Angeles, California,
emerged from the earlier band Cherri Bomb, which was founded in 2008 by Julia
Pierce, Miranda Miller, Rena Lovelis, and Nia Lovelis while the members were
still in middle school. After Julia Pierce departed in 2013, Casey Moreta joined
and the remaining lineup-Rena Lovelis on lead vocals, Nia Lovelis on drums, and
Casey Moreta on guitar-rebranded as Hey Violet in 2015, shifting toward a
pop‑punk and electropop sound. The band released the EP Stark in 2011, followed
by the album This Is the End of Control in...
