Hermine Demoriane, born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, in 1942, was a French
singer known for her contributions to cabaret and pop music. She began her
career as a tightrope walker, writer, and journalist before venturing into
music. In 1974, Demoriane made her public singing debut with "I won't make it
without you" by Nick Lowe while performing as a funambulist for The Moodies. Her
first single, "Torture", was released in 1980 on Salomé Records and later
