Hempress Sativa
Kerida Shushana Johnson, born on 15 July 1984 in Papine, Jamaica, is a Jamaican
singer-songwriter who performs as Hempress Sativa. By age 4, she was already
singing, and by 13, she performed for the first time at King Bebo Lawn. Her
breakthrough came in 2013 with tracks such as "Jah Have Mi Back" and "Children
of the Emperor" with the Jah Ova Evil Movement. In 2017, she issued her debut
album Unconquerebel, which topped the Global Reggae Charts, followed by the dub
