Hella
Hella, an American math rock band from Sacramento, California, was formed with
Spencer Seim on electric guitar and Zach Hill on drums. Before forming Hella,
both Seim and Hill were part of the Northern California band Legs on Earth.
Their earliest recording was the self-released Leather Diamond EP, which they
sold at their first shows. In 2002, Hella debuted with their full-length album
Hold Your Horse Is. In 2004, they released The Devil Isn't Red and the EP
Acoustics. The band expanded their live lineup for tours in support of various
