Helen Jeanette Donath, born Helen Jeanette Erwin on July 10, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States, is an American soprano known for her roles in operas and oratorios. She studied at Del Mar College and with Paola Novikova in New York, debuting in concert in 1958. Donath moved to Germany in the early 1960s, performing at the Cologne Opera and Hannover State Opera before debuting at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich in 1966.
