Hedley, a Canadian pop‑rock group formed in Abbotsford, British Columbia in
2003, began with Jacob Hoggard after his third place on Canadian Idol in 2004.
The band signed with Universal Music Canada and released their self‑titled debut
Hedley on 26 September 2006, reaching number three on the Canadian Albums Chart
