Heavenly
Amelia Fletcher, born in 1966 in London, England, is the vocalist and guitarist
of the British rock group Heavenly, formed with her brother Mathew Fletcher
(drums), Peter Momtchiloff (guitar), and Robert Pursey (bass), all former
Talulah Gosh members. The band debuted with the 7" single "I Fell in Love Last
Night" in 1990 on Sarah Records, followed by "Our Love Is Heavenly",
establishing their jangly pop sound. Their first LP, Heavenly vs. Satan (1991),
was succeeded by Le Jardin de Heavenly (1992), The Decline and Fall of Heavenly
