Head
Head was an English rock band from Bristol active between 1987 and 1989. The
group released three studio albums including A Snog on the Rocks (1987), Tales
of Ordinary Madness (1988), and Intoxicator (1989). The lineup featured lead
vocalist Rich Beale, Gareth Sager, and Nick Sheppard. Sheppard previously played
in The Cortinas and The Clash while Sager performed with The Pop Group and Rip
Rig + Panic. Although the band never achieved major sales they were later
recognized as a forerunner of the trip hop scene. The title of their second
album was a reference to the film Tales of ...
