Hayley Michelle Aitken, born 11 April 1986 in Drouin, Victoria, Australia,
emerged as a pop singer‑songwriter and record producer. She first entered the
music scene with the 2001 single "That Girl" under the mononym Hayley, which
entered the ARIA Singles Chart top 100, followed by the 2002 hit "Kiss Me Quick"
that peaked at Number 31 and marked her breakthrough. Aitken signed with
Jive/Zomba and later BMG, though contractual changes delayed her planned debut
