Haudegen, a German rock group from Berlin, was founded in 2010 by Hagen Stoll
and Sven Gillert, who had previously performed as solo rappers Joe Rilla and
Tyron Berlin. After relocating from Marzahn, the duo shifted from rap to an
emotionally driven rock sound, describing it as a logical continuation of their
musical evolution. Their breakthrough came with the single "Großvater Sagt" on
30 November 2010, followed by the self‑titled EP Haudegen on 29 October 2010,
both issued through Warner Music and receiving airplay on VIVA and German radio.
