Harry Pickens is an American jazz pianist. He began his career with the Johnny
Griffin quartet and Chico Freeman quintet. Later, he performed with Blue Note
Records group Out of the Blue before releasing several albums as a leader. His
album I'll Be Seeing You was released in 2003. Pickens has collaborated
extensively with notable musicians including John Abercrombie, Eric Alexander,
Art Blakey, and Dizzy Gillespie. He is the author of In Tune: Lessons In Life
