Harry Bicket
Harry Bicket (born 1961) is a British conductor, harpsichordist and organist who
studied at Radley College, Christ Church Oxford, and the Royal College of Music.
He served as sub‑organist at Westminster Abbey, playing at Sarah Ferguson and
Prince Andrew’s wedding. His first public harpsichord appearance was at the
Proms in 1983. Bicket’s conducting breakthrough came in 1996 when he stepped in
for Peter Sellars’ Theodora at Glyndebourne, followed by Handel’s Orlando at
Covent Garden (2003) and Rodelinda at the Metropolitan Opera (2004), returning
