Harry Arnold Persson was born on August 7, 1920 in Helsingborg, Sweden, and was
a Swedish saxophonist, composer, musician, and bandleader. His work appeared
under pseudonyms "Dick Harris" and his real name, Harry Persson. He studied
clarinet, alto saxophone, and arrangement before leading a small band at Club
Amiralen in Malmös Folkets Park from 1942 to 1949. Arnold later joined Thore
Ehrling as an arranger and then formed his own ensemble in 1952. He founded a
