Hanne Krogh, born January 24, 1956, in Oslo, Norway, is a Norwegian singer and
actress. Krogh grew up in Lambertseter and Haugesund. She debuted at age
fourteen with the single "Lukk opp min dør" (1970). The following year, Krogh
won the Melodi Grand Prix final with "Lykken er" (1971), representing Norway at
the Eurovision Song Contest where she finished number 17. Her solo album Hanne
Krogh (1978) saw modest sales, which was followed by Nærbilde (1980) and the
highly successful Christmas album Julens vakreste (1983). In 1984, she formed
