Halogen was an Australian rock band formed in Perth, Western Australia in 1997.
The group consisted of Frans Bisschops on guitar and keyboards, and Jasmine Yee
on lead vocals, both expatriate New Zealanders. Halogen released their debut
extended play, Into the Crash Barrier, in 1999, and gained national exposure
with the track "Hole Around My Heart" from their second EP, Somewhere You're
Alone (2001). They won WAM Song of the Year in 2001 for the Love category.
Halogen released three albums: Save the Ones You Love (2003), Building on the
Edge of the Sky (2004), and Sirens (2006)....
