Halloween is an American heavy metal band formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1983 by Rick Craig, Brian Thomas, George Neal, and Bill Whyte. Their debut album, Don't Metal with Evil, was released in 1985 on Motor City Metal Records. In 1986, they began work on their follow-up album, Victims of the Night, which was shelved until its release in 1997 by International Metal Alliance.
