Nils Olov Håkan Hagegård, born on November 25, 1945, in Karlstad, Sweden, is a
Swedish operatic baritone. He studied at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm,
and made his debut as a singer in 1965 in Värmlänningarna by Fredrik August
Dahlgren. His operatic debut came in 1968 at the Royal Opera in Stockholm as
Papageno in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, gaining international acclaim through
Ingmar Bergman’s 1975 film adaptation. Hagegård performed at notable venues
