Hades
Hades, an American power metal band from New Jersey, was formed in 1978. The
band solidified its core members in 1982, including Paul Smith on vocals and Dan
Lorenzo on guitar. Their early releases included the single "Deliver Us from
Evil" (1982). The addition of Alan Tecchio led to their debut album Resisting
Success (1987), which gained cult status. Hades signed with Torrid Records and
released If at First You Don’t Succeed… (1988). Internal conflicts led to the
band's dissolution in 1989. Reunions occurred in 1991 and 1995, resulting in
live albums like Live on Location (1991...
