H-Blockx was founded in Münster in 1990. The band plays crossover and combines
rock, funk and rap. Key members include Henning Wehland (vocals), Sascha
Gerstner (guitar), Gudze Gautsch (bass), Tim Tenholt (drums) and David Gappa
(guitar). The band emerged in the context of the German crossover movement of
the 1990s and developed an international sound early on. H-Blockx performs
throughout Europe and in the USA and plays at major festivals. The breakthrough
