Gustavo Leguizamón, also known as “El Cuchi,” was an Argentine musician,
pianist, composer, writer, and also a lawyer and public official. He came from a
prominent merchant family in Salta and developed a career in both law and
politics alongside his musical work, serving as a prosecutor in the province and
as a member of the national parliament. Leguizamón is especially known for his
long and fruitful collaboration with poet Manuel J. Castilla, with whom he
