Gus Black
Gus Black, born Anthony Penaloza on March 25, 1976, in Los Angeles, is an
American singer. His career began with the release of his debut album Gus under
Almo Sounds in 1996, followed by Word of Mouth Parade in 1999. After Almo Sounds
disbanded in 2000, Black continued to release albums independently and through
various labels. His album Autumn Days was selected by iTunes as one of the Top
10 Best Indie Singer/Songwriter releases of 2006. Black produced a hit cover of
