Grupo Paraíso are a Mexican cumbia sonidera band from Puebla formed in 1999
under the direction of Jorge Pastrana, known as Patrick, emerging from the local
sound-system circuit with a lineup focused on keyboard-driven,
instrumental-heavy cumbia for DJs. In their first year they recorded two studio
productions, one of which featured an instrumental cumbia that became their
first major sonidero hit in Puebla and neighboring states, paving the way for
