Grupo Flash is a Mexican cumbia and grupero band from Nueva Rosita, Coahuila,
founded in 1986 by singer and bandleader José Luis Garza after his long stint
with Los Krazy Kings. Built around Garza’s voice and a large, shifting lineup of
seasoned musicians, the group broke through with its debut album Dueño de Tu
Amor, which introduced songs such as “El Maestro” and “Cuco el Perruco,” then
