Grigoris Bithikotsis (Γρηγόρης Μπιθικώτσης) was a Greek singer. Raised in a poor family in Athens, he taught himself to play the bouzouki and gained significant popularity in the 1950s with his laiko singing style, a refined form of rembetiko. His breakthrough came through his collaboration with Mikis Theodorakis on Epitaphios, based on poems by Yannis Ritsos, which brought him widespread recognition.
