Greg Abate, born on May 31, 1947, in Fall River, Massachusetts, is an American
jazz saxophonist and flutist. He began playing clarinet in high school and later
studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. After completing his
education, Abate worked with notable artists such as Ray Charles and Artie
Shaw's Orchestra. His album, Spirit, was released in 1987. Abate continued to
release several albums under various labels, including Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
