Grażyna Auguścik, born on August 17, 1955, in Słupsk, Poland, is a jazz
vocalist. She studied guitar before transitioning to singing, graduating from
Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1992. Auguścik's debut performance was at
the festival in Toruń in 1977, followed by wins at festivals in Opole and
Kraków. In 1988, she moved to the United States, collaborating with notable
artists such as Michał Urbaniak, Jim Hall, Michael Brecker, and Patricia Barber.
