Grasu XXL
Dragoș Nichifor, known as Grasu XXL, was born on August 11, 1981, in Buhuși,
Romania. He began singing at 14 and released his first recording material,
Personajul negativ, in 1999 with Paco 10 Grei under the band name XXL & 10 Grei.
In 2006, Grasu XXL released his debut solo album Curaj. He co-founded the Okapi
Sound record label in 2007 and released his second solo album, Oameni, in 2010.
Grasu XXL has won two Romanian Music Awards prizes and earned a nomination at
the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Romanian Act.
