Gorefest
Gorefest, a Dutch death metal band, was founded in 1989 by bassist and singer
Jan-Chris de Koeyer and guitarist Frank Harthoorn. The group released their
debut album Mindloss in 1991, showcasing an early death metal sound influenced
by Carcass. Their second album, False, followed in 1992 with more socially
conscious lyrics and higher technical proficiency. This period included
extensive tours, such as the Insanity Tour with Deicide and Atrocity. Gorefest's
