Goran Karan, born on April 2, 1964, in Belgrade, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia, is a
Croatian singer-songwriter known for his powerful and refined tenor voice and
songs influenced by Dalmatian folk music. Karan started as the lead singer of
the Croatian rock group Big Blue before going solo in 1997. He released his
debut album Kao da te ne volim (Like I Don't Love You) in 1999. Karan
represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000 with the song "Kad
