Glenn Osser, born Abraham Arthur Osser on August 28, 1914, in Munising,
Michigan, was an American musician, musical arranger, orchestra leader, and
songwriter. After graduating from the University of Michigan, where he studied
music, Osser moved to New York City and began his career arranging for figures
like Bob Crosby and Vincent Lopez. During World War II, Osser served in the U.S.
Maritime Service. Post-war, he arranged for the Paul Whiteman orchestra and
became an arranger at ABC from 1947 to 1969, during which he also conducted the
