Giorgos Hatzinasios is a Greek songwriter and composer born on 19 January 1942
in Thessaloniki. He began piano studies at age six and later studied composition
and conducting in Paris. By age fourteen, Hatzinasios performed as a jazz and
Greek music pianist. He began a professional recording career in 1972 and
released more than forty albums, including several that achieved gold or
platinum status. He collaborated with vocalists such as Nana Mouskouri and
Marinella and composed scores for thirty-eight films and twenty-five theatrical
