Gia Maione
Gia Maione Prima, born May 20, 1941, in Roebling, New Jersey, was an American
jazz singer. She graduated from Toms River High School in 1959 and first gained
notice in 1962 when she was signed to sing lead female vocals for Louis Prima
and his band. In 1963, Maione married Prima, becoming his fifth and final wife.
The couple released the album Let's Fly With Mary Poppins in 1965, featuring
jazz versions of songs from the Disney film. They performed at venues such as
