Ghalia Benali, born 21 December 1968 in Brussels, Belgium, is a Tunisian
singer-songwriter and designer. After completing science and mathematics
studies, she trained in graphic design at Institut Saint‑Luc before discovering
her vocal talent. Her debut album Wild Harissa, was released in 2001, followed
by Nada (2002). In 2006, she presented Romeo and Leila, an autobiographical
