George Morel, born 20 September 1967 in New York, is an American electronic
music producer and disc jockey of Dominican descent. His early career began in
New York clubs such as Red Zone, Palladium, Traxs and Save the Robots, where he
honed his DJing skills before turning to production in 1989, co-writing and
co-producing Dee Halloway’s single “Our Love Is Over” with David Cole. The
following year he co-produced 2 in a Room’s single “Wiggle It”, which reached
