Genevieve Artadi, born July 1, 1982, in Los Angeles, is an American musician,
singer-songwriter, and video producer. Her parents, who immigrated to the United
States from the Philippines, were musicians, leading to a nomadic upbringing.
She discovered jazz in seventh grade through Natalie Cole's album
Unforgettable... with Love and studied jazz studies at California State
University, Northridge. Artadi initially gained recognition as the lead vocalist
