Gavin Mikhail is an American composer, pianist, and singer-songwriter. He began
studying classical piano at age seven and performed weekly church services by
ten. After graduating from Purdue University in 1995, Mikhail moved to Nashville
to pursue a music career. In 1997, he joined Giant Records, assisting with acts
like Blake Shelton. In 2003, Mikhail released the debut album My Personal Beauty
Needs. He won the 2007 "Lay It Down and Mix It Up in the UK" fan-vote contest,
leading to a recording session at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios. Mikhail
