Born on May 1, 1961 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, Saint-Joseph Gadji Celi, better
known by his shortened name Gadji Celi, is a professional footballer. He was
signed in 1980 by Stella Club d'Adjamé, where he played for two years before
joining ASEC Mimosas, where he stayed from 1983 to 1986. The midfielder was then
recruited by French club FC Sète, where he played for three seasons (1986-1989)
