Riho Furui, born 4 April 1991 in Hokkaido, Japan, is a Japanese
singer‑songwriter whose early exposure to gospel and R&B shaped her musical
direction. After studying piano from kindergarten and spending a year in Toronto
to study English, she debuted as an indie artist in 2016 under the name Riho
Furui with the single "Believe", drawing on her overseas experiences. Her
breakout came with the 2019 digital single "Rebirth", which expanded her
