Freestyle
Freestyle, a Filipino pop and R&B band, was formed in 1996 in Davao City,
Philippines, by former guitarist Richard Felix “Tat” Suzara. The original lineup
featured vocalists Jinky Vidal and Top Suzara, who served as the band’s primary
songwriter. The group achieved mainstream success in 1998 with singles such as
"Before I Let You Go" and "So Slow", which helped establish their presence on
local charts. In 1999 and 2000, Freestyle released the compilations Closer to
Home and Closer to Home 2 under Viva Records, followed by the studio album
Freestyle in 1990 (digital release). The ...
