Franklin Hubert Sahilatua, known professionally as Franky Sahilatua, was born on
August 16, 1952, in Surabaya, Indonesia, was a ballad singer. He gained public
recognition in the mid-1970s as part of the duo Franky & Jane with his sister,
Jane Sahilatua, releasing albums like Senja Indah di Pantai (1975) under the
Jackson label before disbanding in 1980. Franky Sahilatua then embarked on a
solo career, releasing his first album, Balada Wagiman Tua, in 1982. Throughout
